New Lawyer Welcome Events

CBA Alberta partnering with the Law Society of Alberta, the Alberta Lawyers Indemnity Association, the Alberta Lawyer's Assistance Society and the Legal Education Society of Alberta to roll out the red carpet and welcome new and incoming lawyers to the profession. 

These lunchtime events will feature presentation to help you get a better understanding of what our organizations offer and how to access the different supports available. Let us take some of the guesswork away from your early days of practice and introduce you to a wide variety of resources. 

There is no charge to register, and lunch is included at the events in Calgary and Edmonton. Spots are limited and registration is required. 

Who is invited?

You are encouraged to attend if you are a new Alberta lawyer, or if you have completed law school but have not yet been called to the bar. This includes articling students, PREP students who have not yet started articling, NCA candidates or lawyers transferring from outside Alberta.
