About Us
WE CHAMPION CANADIAN LAWYERS
The Canadian Bar Association (CBA) is the largest professional association for lawyers in Canada. We have been championing Canadian lawyers and Canadian law since 1896 as the leader and the voice of Canada’s legal profession.
As essential ally and advocate for members of the legal profession, we promote fair justice systems, facilitate effective law reform, uphold equality in the legal profession and are devoted to eliminating discrimination.
The Alberta Branch is dedicated to enhancing the professional and commercial interests of our diverse members through professional development, mentorship programs, advocacy, and professional initiatives within the legal profession. We represent over 5,000 lawyers, students, and judges across Alberta.
INFLUENCE. LEADERSHIP. PROTECTION.
We are dedicated to enhancing the professional and commercial interests of our diverse membership, and to protecting the independence of the judiciary and the Bar.
