Your CBA membership gives you access to PD offered by CBA national and 13 provincial and territorial CBA Branches plus the Canadian Corporate Counsel Association (CCCA). That's a wealth of PD from across Canada available to you whenever you want it. No matter what your practice area or level of expertise, you'll find PD that meets your needs on CBA's searchable cross-country PD website - CBAPD.org.
If you have a particular PD topic in mind, CBAPD.org lets you do a simple keyword search. Or you can use the advanced search features to zero in on PD in a particular area of law or from a particular province or territory. To help you find exactly what you want, you can also narrow down your search results by date range and format (e.g., in person, live online and pre-recorded videos).
Lots of the PD on CBAPD.org is complimentary for CBA members, which includes you as a member of CBA Alberta. This means you have access to free PD from across Canada. For PD that isn't complimentary, you get the reduced CBA member price even if the PD is being offered outside Alberta. Early-career lawyers and law students also enjoy additional discounts.
