Environmental Law

With the environment in the hearts and minds of the public, in the platform and agenda of the politicians, and in the policies and practices of corporations, environmental law is a constantly evolving, exciting, and challenging area of practice.

The Environmental Law Section focuses on both provincial and federal issues. Speakers from a variety of backgrounds are invited to present to members on hot topics such as climate change, species at risk, migratory birds, water, land use, air quality, toxic substances, environmental enforcement, environmental regulatory issues, environmental assessment and more. The information, insight and experiences of both presenters and members are sure to benefit those who dabble and those who specialize in environmental law alike.
