Meetings presented in person and by live webcast.

This Section is geared towards those who conduct legal research and wish to maintain and hone their research skills. Its diverse membership includes research and other lawyers with firms, the courts, government, corporations and law reform and other legal institutes, contract research lawyers, and law librarians in the private and public sectors. This Section, which meets at least 6 times during the year, provides sessions on research resources and processes and substantive legal topics. Topics in the past year include LexisNexis new platform, summary judgement and construction law updates, Commonwealth legal research, new developments at CanLII and legal research using law reform institute materials.
