The Taxation Law Section focuses on topics of interest to CBA Alberta members both within and outside the tax law bar. Planning, compliance and litigation issues in the areas of domestic and international income and excise tax are explored, including estate planning and trust law issues.
Speakers are drawn from practicing members of the bar, the judiciary, the Tax Court of Canada, academia, the Canada Revenue Agency, the Alberta and Federal Departments of Finance, the Alberta and Federal Departments of Justice, and the accounting profession.
