Labour & Employment Law

The Labour & Employment Law Section focuses on the contemporary legal issues in both the union and non-union sectors of the workplace. At each meeting, leading practitioners from both sides of the bar speak on legislative changes, the impact of new jurisprudence and practice management issues.

A team of employees collaborating and sharing ideas in a well-lit open office setting.

The speakers and meeting attendees also share practical (and tactical) insights about how to practice more effectively. The Section provides an excellent means for CBA Alberta members to stay abreast of developments in this broad and dynamic practice area.

Meeting Dates:

  • North: 12:00 P.M., fourth Monday (7 meetings)
  • South: 12:00 P.M., second Wednesday (monthly except Dec)
