Summary
The Alberta Health Care Insurance Amendment Act repealed section 40.2 of the Alberta Health Care Insurance Act which authorizes the Minister to terminate an agreement to administer a plan to provide benefits for basic health services to Albertans or any agreement between the Crown and the Alberta Medical Association regarding physician compensation matters.
The Bill also made consequential changes arising from the renaming of Alberta Justice and Solicitor General to Alberta Justice.
