Your CBA membership shouldn't break the bank. Students at the faculties of law at the University of Calgary and the University of Alberta, as well as students in the Foreign-Trained Lawyer Program and Internationally Trained Lawyer Pathway can enjoy a CBA membership for only $30.50/year.

Exclusively for CBA members, the law student mentor program will pair you with a practicing lawyer for extra guidance and insight on everything from how to make the most of your law school experience to what to expect when you graduate.

We host nearly 500 professional development meetings each year through our Sections, which represent various areas of practice and interest. Attendance at these meetings either by webcast or in person is free for all law student members.

Law student members are also automatically enrolled in the corresponding Law Student Section for their university and in the national Law Student Section.
