This Section focuses on the contemporary legal issues in both the union and non-union sectors of the workplace. At each meeting, leading practitioners from both sides of the bar speak on legislative changes, the impact of new jurisprudence and practice management issues. We also include involvement and presentation by different adjudicators in this area of practice (i.e. arbitrators, Labour Relations Board members, Workers’ Compensation Board tribunals, human rights tribunals, workplace health and safety, and others).
